Deadline for participation in the prequalification for the international architectural competition ended on 25 February and the exciting task of selecting the five to six participants, who will be competing for the right to build Aarhus’ new main library, awaits over the coming months.

We received 40 very interesting proposals with participants from minimum 10 countries, so the selection process will be difficult. The competition is expected to start in March, and the final winner will be selected in January 2009.
