Now you can see a segment of Mediaspace’s roof slice at Aarhus Harbour. The segment makes up a tenth of one side of the finished roof slice.The segment is a so-called ‘mock-up’, a working model which is ten metres wide and seven metres high. The objective of the model is to examine materials and building methods before the building process commences.

Therefore, the model does not necessarily show the final solutions but rather a test of various possibilities. Thus the model works as a tool which can be used for decision-making in relation to the finished building.
