The building process has now started but it is still possible to find parking spaces at the harbour.

The City of Aarhus has examined the need for parking spaces in the harbour area. In peak periods, we have counted 450 parked cars at the harbour. In order to meet this need, we will make sure that 550 parking spaces are available in the area at all times during the building process.

Some of the existing spaces, however, will be scrapped and moved to a different part of the harbour because we need the area for the building site.

Automatic Parking Facility

When the automatic car park under Mediaspace is finished in 2014, citizens and guests in Aarhus will enjoy its 1000 new parking spaces close to the city centre.
